So as I said earlier... Yeah, well, there's accounting for some people's tastes.

Somehow, I wonder about your life due to this...

Why? I'm a musician, an artist.

Why? I'm a musician, an artist. I know plenty of musicians, so I know that shouldn't have anything to do with sports...

He was saying that he didn't think you should be concerned with him just because he is into something other than sports. Or at least, that's how it read to me. VP?

Yup. Sport just doesn't interest me. I like to get outside still, probably not as much as most people. I enjoy swimming, just not people screaming at me for having no hand eye coordination. I actually can play sport if I try, but people assume I can't so I don't. I do occasionally just to freak them out. It's so funny to be horrible at sport and then randomly be the best person on your hockey team for a day. Then go back to being horrible and leave people confused.

Hehe... me playing hockey - or soccer, for that matter - is funny. My philosophy on both games is pretty much "If you stand in the way, the opposition won't get the ball where they want it to go". Needless to say, I therefore enjoy hockey more because it hurts less lol. Actually, it isn't at all accurate to say I hate sport. I'm just no good at it whatsoever. Except my martial arts, I'm decent at that. *clings*

I hate sport, I'm not bad at it if I try though. Martial Arts I'd be decent at I reckon. Except I tend to scare people, so I won't for their sakes.

Ha! I'm the kind of person that everyone (except the tiny noobies) goes really easy on when they first partner with me. Probably something to do with the fact that I'm a slightly smaller-than-average female who wears glasses and pretty much loks the spitting image of a nerd/geek. and then we start fighting, and they realise I'm hell pulling my punches and keep complaining saying they need to go harder lol.

Apparently I look scary. I make little kids cry by staring at them.

Haha. I don't look scary, but anyone who trains with me on a regular basis can be almost guarunteed to have one of the highest pain thresholds in the class - and probably some of the best technique, to, especially for elbow locks because a lot of them dont work on me unless you do it perfectly.
I wouldn't be scared to train with you I bet.

Possibly not. After however...

After, I'd probably be asking to fight again. You underestimate how much people pulling their punches on me all the time annoys me. I mean, it is only training, but they could at least punch so that if I don't get out of the way and block in time it will actually hit me, as opposed to ending somewhere by my head or stopping before it gets anywhere near landing.

Your not meant to hit them. 0_o

If they don't block you most certainly well are. You don't hit them as hard as if it were the real thing, but if you aren't at least accurate when training you will do your partner no favours, not with an art that is (or has become, anyway) a self-defence art.

Haha. That's okay, were not meant to hit the little noobies. Or even the big noobies. At least, not hard. At least I have one person in the class who can and will actually hit me, and I can hit her. It's much more fun that way. well, there is someone else, but I think he's about three ranks above me and he's just too good lol.

Wouldn't punching count as contact?
